Meet Our Staff
Feel free to drop by the office during the following hours when we are open to members and the general public. Our office is located in the Historic Stangenwald Building, 119 Merchant Street, Suite 402 in downtown Honolulu.
Mondays - Thursdays: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
Fridays: 8:00 am - Noon.*
*The office is available for membership meetings on Friday afternoons by advanced reservation and during evening hours by pre-arranged schedule.
Contract document orders: to better serve you, call the office in advance to place your order and it can be ready for pick-up when you arrive. Bonnie McIntyre, Membership Coordinator, can assist you with your pre-payment and orders at (808) 628-7243. Please call before 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday to place your order, and before 11 am on Friday (we close at noon to the public on Friday's).

Amy Blagriff, Honorary Affiliate

Brief Bio:
Amy Blagriff is the executive vice president for AIA Honolulu, serving ~800 AIA members and allied professionals on the islands of Oahu, Hawaii and Kauai since 2003. She also oversees the work of the AIA Hawaii State Council, representing members on matters of state-wide interest; and providing advice to state and regulatory bodies regarding issues affecting the architecture profession in Hawaii. In November 2010, the local Board of Directors bestowed Amy with Honorary AIA Honolulu membership– for her efforts to raise public awareness of design issues in Hawaii, deepen the relationship between AIA Honolulu, AIA National and affiliated organizations, and strengthen the Chapter's financial base.
Nationally, Amy is immediate past president (2010) of the AIA Council of Architectural Component Executives (CACE), supporting the interests of the AIA's 286 chartered components and grassroots membership base.Highlighting her tenure as CACE President, Amy directed much of her energies to optimizing working relationships and improving collaboration and communication across the AIA. She also served on the implementation team of the new AIA continuing education software. Her tenure on the CACE EXCOM began in 2006 where she served as Director and Secretary for 2 years, before climbing the ladder to serve as President. In 2008 Amy also chaired the AIA Component Partnerships Committee, addressing business models and opportunities for strengthening AIA components.
Amy currently serves as one of 10 members on the National AIA Executive Committee, continuing to represent component affairs as immediate Past President.
