We heard you! Based on member feedback, the 2015 design awards committee is pleased to announce significant improvements to this year’s award program.

Enter Online Today!  Based on research on best practices from AIA’s across the country, we have simplified the submission process, articulated clearly defined judging criteria, added new award/category levels, and announced a strong line-up of jurors.  We strongly encourage you to submit a project (or two, or three, or more)!

AIA Honolulu is partnering with the Hawaii Society of Business Professionals (HSBP)
Improving Hawaii's Economy - What Will the New Administration Support? Come and have lunch will governor David Y. Ige who will share with us his perspective on economic development and what businesses can expect from the new administration.  This event takes place on Thursday, May 14, 11:30am-1:30pm at the Hawaii Prince Hotel, Waikiki, Mauna Kea Ballroom.

      • May 2 - Big Island Events - Moving Around Downtown Hilo
        The Downtown Hilo Multimodal Master Plan (DHMMP) celebrates its public kickoff on Saturday, May 1 from 8:30am - 4:00pm. This event is free for all to come and participate in a range of activities desgined to educate, collect input and engage all ages in helping to create a more walkable, bikeable, livabel Downtown Hilo.

      • May 6 - Teaming Arrangements For Federal Contracts

      • ASID Event: ReGreen Implementation Workshop June 5
        This 8-hour program is the first and most comprehensive green residential remodeling program, building on foundational knowledge from the ReGreen Guidelines. Learn about green product selection, team integration and whole systems thinking for residential remodeling. AIA Honolulu qualifies for the "Friends of ASID discount" that ends on May 15.
