Our AIA architectural walking tours are a great way to explore the historic downtown of Honolulu through the eyes of an Architect. Each tour is lead by an AIA architect who relates history, cultural insights, anecdotes and much more.

Our AIA architectural walking tours are a great way to explore the historic downtown of Honolulu through the eyes of an Architect.

Each tour is lead by an AIA architect who relates history, cultural insights, anecdotes and much more.


Tour Groups:
Tour groups must be between 4 - 10 people to take place. Advanced reservations are required.  If less than 4 people signs up the tour will be cancelled and full refund will be given to anyone already signed up.

Walking Tour: The tour starts at AIA Honolulu | Center for Architecture and for 2 1/2 hours our guide will take you past amazing buildings.

Tour Guide: Frank Haines, FAIA

Tour Cost: $15.00/ person. Register and pay online. Needs to be paid in advance.

Parking: Parking is available at the University Center garage, 828 Fort Street Mall until 4pm with entrance on Queen Street. View more parking information. Some street parking is available.

Refund Policy: Refunds for AIA Honolulu events will only be given as a result of event cancellation made by the Chapter. Substitutions are welcome for your pre-paid spot.
