Red Cedar Shakes & Shingles - Identification, Application and Benefits

The CSSB will provide product knowledge enabling the architect to design accurate replications by achieving the following:

    1. At the end of the two hour program participants will have learned how to specify cedar roofing and sidewall products properly, understanding which material is appropriate for which project.
    2. Be able to accurately evaluate variable costs of cedar roofing and sidewall products
    3. Make basic approval of on-going projects and be able to recognize proper and improper installations
    4. Understand why Western Red Cedar shingles/shakes embody many desirable characteristics.
