Park Clean up at Lo‘i Kalo Park

Join us to beautify a local neighborhood park and reconnect with the ‘āina during this four-hour project. Roll up your sleeves to help Robert Silva and other stewards from the Kapālama community care for this small lo‘i in the center of Honolulu. Aia ke ola I ka hana.
The park is frequently muddy, so please wear clothes/shoes that can get dirty. Water shoes or tabis are recommend for anyone interested in working in the loi. Some work gloves will be provided but if you have any yard equipment (rakes, trimmers, etc) those will be helpful to bring along.

Meeting Point: Please meet under the small pavilion on the makai side of the park.
Register Online: Pre-registration is required (max 15 member participants).
Parking: Parking on site is limited, but there is a small lot just past the parking for Mexico restaurant. If full, street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood on Kohou and Pohaku, but please be respectful of the neighbors and all posted signs.
