DESCRIPTION:Two-Day ARE Lecture Series:Programming & AnalysisProject Planning & DesignProject Development & Documentation\nVirtual sessions – Zoom will be required to attend. \nWHY ATTEND? \n\nYou want to get started with the ARE exams but aren’t quite sure where or how to start.\nYou’ve taken an exam and failed and want a little more directed help.\nYou’ve been working for a while and need a kick to finally take those ARE exams\n\nWhatever your background and progress with the ARE\, we welcome you to join us.  Come learn\, contribute and get pumped up to pass exams with friends and colleagues. \n2025 OVERVIEW: \nWe will meet over two back-to-back evenings to review multiple related exams. \nEach session will include: \n\ntesting taking and specific exam tips\nopen discussion and q & a\noverall exam content\ndeep dive into select key topics\nsample questions\n\n\n2-DAY PROGRAM ARE 5.0:   Programming & Analysis (PA)\, Project Planning & Design (PPD) and Project Development and Documentation (PDD) \nOVERVIEW:    \nPA content to discuss includes principles of environmental and contextual analysis\, site analysis\, approaches to project programming\, and how to evaluate due diligence documentation. \nPPD content to discuss includes researching applicable codes and regulations\, identifying structural and building systems and integration of systems with programming. \nPDD content to discuss includes development of construction documents\, further integration and definition of building structure and systems\, preparing specifications and project manual and cost estimating. \nAIA/CES LU:   3 AIA/CES LUs (1.5 LUs for each session) \nCOST:  $30 members / $50 non-members for a two-night session. \nREGISTRATION:  Advanced online registration is required.
