DESCRIPTION:Talk Story: City Updates\nFeaturing Managing Director Krishna Jayaram\nIn-Person Event at the CFA | 1.0 HSW | Free for AIA | Lunch Provided\nJoin AIA Honolulu for an update on the City & County of Honolulu.\nThis annual event\, “Talk Story” session is a chance for AIA Honolulu members and affiliates to engage in a meaningful dialogue and hear about the city’s current initiatives and future plans. \nThe Mayor’s administration focuses on addressing long-standing challenges in Honolulu\, including homelessness\, affordable housing\, public safety\, and modernization of city services. \nWhile the Mayor is unable to join us this year\, we’re excited to welcome Managing Director Krishna Jayaram\, one of the City’s senior leaders\, to share insights on current initiatives and the future of Honolulu. \n\nAs the Managing Director\, Krishna is focused on the operations of the City and County of Honolulu and ensuring the delivery of effective\, efficient\, and professional services to a public that he is privileged to serve. \nHe spent the preceding four and a half years as the Deputy Managing Director\, and the year before that as the First Deputy Corporation Counsel. \nPrior to his roles at the City and County of Honolulu\, Krishna worked as an associate at a private law firm and in \nlegal roles for New York City\, the city of San Diego and the State of Hawai’i.
