DESCRIPTION:The AI Committee Presents:	\n\n			 RunDiffusion	\n	Mark your calendar for the first in a series of presentations on AI. \n\n				\n	\n	On September 22\, at noon HST\, there will be a Zoom presentation by Blake Gibbons of RunDiffusion\, which is a platform for AI visualization that combines a number of apps into a single subscription that helps to manage issues of cost\, security\, and governance. RunDiffusion is currently used by both large and small practices. \n	We plan for this to be one of a series of presentations to help our members understand what resources are available and how they work. DESCRIPTION:The AIA Hawaii State Council Codes Committee will systematically review changes between the 2021 and 2024 International Building Code (IBC)\, Chapters 1 through 10\, with a focus on identifying\, evaluating\, and recommending amendments appropriate for adoption in Hawaii. The sessions will incorporate comparison with amendments adopted by other jurisdictions to inform context-sensitive and resilient code development. DESCRIPTION:AIA Honolulu Architectural Walking Tour of Downtown\nThe Architectural Walking Tour of Downtown Honolulu is a rare treat for residents and visitors to explore the area through the eyes of an architect or architectural historian. \nEach tour provides architectural and historical insights about the fascinating buildings in Honolulu’s downtown and Capitol District. \nTour Groups: Tour groups must be between 4-14 people to take place. Advanced reservations are required. If less than 4 people sign up\, the tour will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued to anyone already registered. \nTour Cost: $25.00/person paid online. Registration is generally open until 4PM Friday before the tour date\, unless the tour fills up early or is cancelled. Walk-in registrations are not allowed. Tour availability is on a first come\, first served basis and may close earlier than the registration deadline! \nBooklet: A historic booklet can be purchased for $5.00 (optional).
