2023 KICKOFF CELEBRATION + COMMITTEE FAIR

AIA Honolulu and the Hawaii State Council are excited to announce our annual Kickoff Party for 2023!

At the Kickoff Party, we thank our past Board members for their contributions and welcome our new Board. We also congratulate newly licensed architects and commend the achievements of our committees while enjoying food, drinks, and company with our local architectural community.

This year, we will also feature a Committee Fair, where representatives of AIA Honolulu's committees will be sharing what they stand for. Learn how you can get involved, and what goals and programs each committee will be focusing on in the coming year.

Admission:

  • $40   AIA, Allied, and Associate Members, and Students
  • $50   Non-Members

Sponsor a Newly Licensed Architect! If you are interested in sponsoring one of our "newbies" please select the "Newly Licensed Architect Sponsorship" option at checkout. The $60 sponsorship will include the newly licensed architect's admission to the Kickoff, a lei, and a gift. Please contact AIA Honolulu if you have any questions or would like the ticket to go to a specific person.

Dress code: Business Casual

Drink Tickets: Two complimentary drink tickets will be provided to each attendee. Additional drink tickets may be purchased for $8 during registration or during the event. Please drink responsibly!

Parking: Limited parking (validation available) at Kameke'e Vista parking on 1065 Kawaiahao Street. Validated rates are $.50/hour ($4.00 max), and cars will need to be moved from the lot by 8:30PM. We also recommend parking at one of Ward Village's parking lots (click here to view map).

PAYMENT/REFUND/ CANCELLATION POLICY:

AIA Honolulu Payment Policy: For all paid events, your registration is complete once we receive payment.  If you have opted to mail a check, payment must be received prior to the event date.  If you have submitted your payment online via credit card no further action is needed.  We will contact you again only if a problem arises with your online transaction.

AIA Honolulu Refund/Cancellation Policy: Full refunds for paid events will be granted up to and including 3 days prior to the event.  For shorter-notice cancellations (2-0 days), refunds are not available—you are welcome to invite someone in your place. Should the need arise, please call our office to advise of any substitutions or cancellations in the time frames noted.
