General Membership Meeting Presents

Framework for Design Excellence & The Common Application

The Framework for Design Excellence is a resource comprised of 10 measures that support inspiring sustainable, resilient, and inclusive design. It challenges architects with a vision of what the profession strives to achieve, the toolkit provides practical resources to help all architects achieve it.

Join us for a step-by-step explanation about this resource.

We will also discuss the Common Application for 2024 AIA Honolulu Design Awards, which follows the Structure of the Framework for Design Excellence, and review key strategies and common mistakes of Common App submission.

Please look over the Common Application prior to the webinar and prepare your questions.

Over the past year, the COTE Network Common App Subcommittee has refreshed the Common App to improve consistency with the AIA Framework for Design Excellence and to enhance user functionality.
