Design in Action:

A Centennial Keynote

Join Tom Chung, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C, Principal at Leers Weinzapfel Associates Architecture + Urban Design, for an inspiring keynote session.

In today’s climate, it is imperative as architects that we design with materials and strategies that promote low embodied carbon. These include use of renewable materials such as wood and strategies such as material efficiency, use of local materials and products, and building in harmony with the land.

Through his projects in mass timber, Tom will share his work that demonstrate these principles and that building sustainably for our environment promotes our communal and human well-being.

Schedule
5:30 PM - 6:00 PM - Networking & Light Refreshments
