Description

This position is responsible for identifying and securing private and public financing for single family and/or multifamily projects, identifying and assessing potential development sites, providing management services to the Construction Branch and the Property Management and Maintenance Services Branch.

The position is also responsible for redevelopment of the agency’s eighty-four (84) properties for mixed used housing, which includes technical research and development of leading to public/private affordable rental housing ventures, neighborhood development, rental housing financing, construction design, and modernization programs.

In addition, the position also oversees all phases of housing development which includes location of housing sites, feasibility for the site, master plan preparation, governmental applications and permits, reviewing and finalizing financial plans and costs for potential redevelopment properties, land parcels, and rehabilitation of housing sites, analyzing proposed market value assessment for low and moderate income housing, negotiates development contracts with consultants, funders, property management and construction firms and institutions, administers the public and private finance activities including taxable and tax exempt bonds for financing, Low Income Tax Credit deals, and state and federally
funded programs.

Designs and closes complex bond and tax credit financed transactions when its affiliates are the borrowers.

EXPERIENCE:
Seven (7) years of experience increasingly responsible management experience in residential property development, mix-fixed redevelopment, commercial property development, acquisition and/or rehabilitation from applications financing through conversion to permanent financing.
