Cool Roofs and Walls for Low-Cost Energy Code Compliance
Thursday, June 25 | 11:30 - 1:00 pm (in-person & on-line)
Cool roofs and cool walls are a low-cost alternative to insulation for energy
savings, thermal comfort and energy code compliance in Hawai‘i.
This presentation will cover energy code pathways and options for roof and wall
materials that offer high solar reflectance, lower cooling loads, and improved
thermal comfort. The focus is low-rise residential and small commercial buildings.
Case studies will be presented
