Melissa Gobrecht is a Policy +International Relations Manager at NCARB overseeing the continued development of the AXP Portfolio program and supporting the Architect Licensing Advisors Community.
Prior to joining NCARB, Melissa led the Chapter Presidents Council and several committees at the American Society of Landscape Architects and practiced architecture for several years in residential alteration, commercial, and the Architect of the Capitol projects. Melissa is passionate about increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the profession, especially for candidates seeking licensure.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech and is licensed to practice architecture in Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and holds the NCARB Certificate for national reciprocity.
