Whitespace Architects is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our team!

This position is open to qualified candidates on Oahu or the Big Island.

Our focus is on quality design and designing places for people. Our range of work includes residential, commercial, and K-12 schools.

We are looking for a motivated, passionate, well organized, self-directed,
detail-oriented candidate to be part of our creative, collaborative team. A positive attitude and willingness to learn is essential.

We are looking for someone who enjoys involvement in all project phases—from conceptual design through construction administration.

A qualified candidate will be given the opportunity and encouraged to grow and develop within the company.

Required qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture
• 1-3 years professional experience in an architectural firm
• Experience in Revit, Adobe suite, and Bluebeam
• Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with residential and/or commercial projects
• Familiarity with local Hawaii permitting and construction processes
• Experience preparing permit and construction document sets
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, or other visualization/rendering software
